Hai Chung is a senior lecturer at the Academy of Journalism and Communication, Hanoi where she conducts undergraduate course in theories of communication and master course in intercultural communication
Her research interests include emerging markets and media consumption. She particularly employs psychological approaches to read the minds of aspiring consumers and audience. She had her Ph.D in Media and Communication at the Media School, Bournemouth University, England.
Hai Chung had several years of work experience in communications for International organizations and local organisations across Southeast Asia.
She got several scholarships for research development such as Hinrich Foundation Scholar (2007), Santander Grant for visiting researcher at Yale University, the U.S (2013). Hai Chung presented several papers for international conferences such asThe 2ndInternational Corporate and Marketing Communications in Asia (Bangkok, 2015), 39th Macromarketing Conference (London, 2014), Annual Emerging Markets (NewDehil, 2014), 5th Annual PGR conference (England, 2013), and published a paper in the Journal of Consumer Marketing (Emerald 2015). Her 2016 forthcoming books are: Brands and Identity (author), Social Media (co-editor).
